Topics include:
Parenting is a tough job, especially during the teen years. It can be difficult coping with your teen's mood changes, defiance, setting limits, social issues, sexuality, media usage, and need for independence. This group is designed to help parents navigate the complicated issues they are facing with thier teens, recieve support, guidance and become a more effective parent.
Through this group you will learn:
Improve your relationship with your teen.
Enhance communication and understanding of your teen.
Understand how to effectively set limits and boundries.
Develop a support network of peers.

If you answered yes to any or all of these questions you maybe struggling with grief. Grief is a normal and natural reaction to loss yet we often blame ourselves or others for our pain. Loss can be defined as any life event where something important to you is no longer in your life. In this 6 week workshop participants will be guided toward resolution of thier loss issues and move beyond thier grief to a richer quailty of life.

Having a baby is stressful no matter how much you have looked forward to it. Considering the new responsibilites, sleep deprivation and lack of time for yourself it's no surprise many new moms feel like they are on an emotional roller coaster.
This group is designed to help new moms cope with the transition to motherhood and the moodiness, sadness, anxiety, irritability, concentration problems and difficulties sleeping that occur for some women for the weeks following childbirth.
